In matters of technology, too, we rely on quality. Our units are made by the firm Zeiss. For the preliminary analysis of your eyes, we employ a Zeiss WASCA Analyzer. Using the latest wave front technology, it captures even the slightest irregularities. A Zeiss CRS Master handles the preliminary investigation, the planning of the LASIK operation and follow-up examinations. A special iris-recognition tool ensures that the laser removes the cornea in exactly the place measured by the analyzer.

For the LASIK operation, we use the excimer laser Zeiss Mel 80. According to strict investigations by the US health authority, the FDA, it is the world’s leading laser system in terms of accuracy and safety.

The laser beam of this device has a diameter of only 0.7 mm. It models the cornea with outstanding precision and delicacy. An exceptionally rapid eye tracker gives instant feedback to the laser, guaranteeing that the laser beam holds its position perfectly even if the eye moves.

The Zeiss Mel 80 uses a wavefront-optimized technique to model the cornea aspherically. This LASIK machine improves your night vision. If you are older than 38, the Zeiss Mel 80 can, on request, offer a special ablation profile which allows you longer independence from reading glasses.
